This posting is pure, undiluted silliness............  I enjoy Madonna and GaGa.  Madonna has always been around and her music is the soundtrack of my youth.  I thought her last album was a giant turd though yet I really hoped she could pull off a good, relevant record.  And I think she has with Girl Gone Wild.  It's pure fun without any of her life-lesson lyrical nonsense that she seems fond of.  Check out the video and some seriously H.O.T. stills here.  The below image which is from the end of that video with her liquid latex tears was a neat visual and I thought the whole production was her announcing I'm still here.  She's 52 and she's DTFABOGD.  That's down to f$#k a bunch of gay dudes in that video.  

I couldn't help myself.......  Silliness took over and I made her tears form an animated message about Lady GaGa.

Madonna spoof

Oh hello again readers.  Sorry for departing so abruptly.  Overexposure to celebrity gossip can make me feel all icky and toxic so I needed a break.  I'm starting back with a funny video my sweet friend Jason in Seattle sent me.  Jason and I share a perhaps unhealthy obsession with Madonna.  Whenever I feel the need to let my inner flaming Madonna fan out, I know I can count on him to understand.  We were emailing back and forth many times yesterday about Madonna's new single.  Neither of us are all that crazy about it but perhaps after a few more listenings, we will both be hooked.  Or maybe not.  Jason pointed out that her duets usually aren't great and how she pairs with artist who are hot at the moment instead of looking ahead to who WILL be important.  This video pokes fun at the Madonna/ Britney/ Missy mash up.  It's an older clip but I think it's hilarious.  Enjoy.......

Madonna. An exquisite corpse.

This is round #2 of a three participant game known as an Exquisite Corpse.   The subject for this session is the unstoppable force that is MADONNA!

My talented and dare I say quite attractive blog buddy 14 from Gallery of The Absurd got the party started by drawing her Majesty's head.  14 then passed along only the bottom sliver of her drawing to Jason from DoodleWhore who drew M's torso.  Jason then passed on the bottom portion of his drawing to me and I completed the icon from her waist down.  Basically I just put myself in the audience screaming and freaking out at her performing on stage.  I've seen Madonna four times in concert and each time I lost my mind and voice from all the exuberant yelling and cheering.  Each of our finished parts were sent to 14 who assembled our creation.  And there you have it. I give you Madonna.  An Exquisite corpse.

The other Exquisite Corpse I participated in included the wickedly funny and oh so talented Hiltron from Planet Hiltron. 

Hopefully there will be many more of these to follow.

Madonna = $

Madonna is about to sign a contract worth $120,000,000,000,000,000,000.  Well not quite that many zeros at the end, but close.  She will be getting one hundred and twenty MILLION dollars from her new endeavor.  Read all about it here.  Madonna certainly equals money, lots and lots of money.
120 million can buy her lots of these.  :)

Elton and Madonna. Two Queens.

I am a great big, out and proud, flaming, true blue, strike a pose- Madonna fan.  I am.  When she's on tour at age 84 up there on stage doing the fox trot while singing La Isla Bonita, I'll be in the front row screaming until my dentures pop out. 
Elton John hasn't always been as big a fan.  Back in 2004 when Madonna was nominated for Best Live Act by Q Magazine, Elton had these choice words for Esther.
"Anyone who lip-synchs in public on stage when you pay 75 pounds ($134) to see them should be shot. Madonna, best fucking live act? Fuck off. Since when has lip-synching been live? That's me off her fucking Christmas card list but do I give a toss? No."
Ouch.
Flash forward to the present and I guess the hatchet has been buried.  Elton introduced Madonna last night at the GQ Man of the Year Awards and all is now well in the world.  There you have it.  Two queens making amends.

I went digging thru my archives and found this drawing I did of Madonna back in 1999. It was around the time her album Music was coming out. I remember she was working the cowboy hat look. I have to say, I am a big Madonna fan. She has been and will always be there for us. All hail her Madjesty!
