Celine MaDionna

My blog buddies Steph and Alek at Oh La La Mag sent me this fun posting about Madonna and Celine Dion being distantly related.  HOLY PHOTOSHOP OPPORTUNITY!!!!!!!  Their connection traces back to 1634 through a carpenter from New France, Quebec.  Zoot alors!   Just imagine if you could combine those two divas.  I give you....

If they could truly be combined, then you'd certainly have an unstoppable force of nature.

Strengths:  Power house vocals, daring style, dance moves galore, hot back up dancers, stadium/ arena packing ability, huge following, and tons of fun songs.

Husband option:  Sorry Rene Angelil, but I have to go with the hotness that is Guy Richie. 

Weakness:  I can't even imagine what a faux British meets French Canadian accent would sound like.  Hopefully that's a mystery which will remain unsolved.

I've never seen Celine perform live, but I have been to four of Madonna's concerts and I must repeat something I've said earlier:

I am a great big, out and proud, flaming, true blue, strike a pose- Madonna fan.  I am.  When she's on tour at age 84 up there on stage doing the fox trot while singing La Isla Bonita, I'll be in the front row screaming until my dentures pop out.
