Haute Dogs in the hot sun.
My friends Justin Rudd and Ralph organize an Easter costume event for their organization Haute Dogs. To me, there's something absolutely irresistible about a dog in a costume and I certainly would not have missed it.
Big and small dogs were dressed as flowers, as Easter bunnies, as soldiers, and this little pug nugget below as a princess.
I love the paparazzi feeling of the above image. That lovely little starlet is named Bella and she's the daughter on proud papas Frank and Steven. My buddy Ralph is playing the part of the over zealous photographer. You can almost hear the shouts from her assembled fans, "Bella, Bella over here..... Who are you wearing? Can we get a picture with you?! Bella you look fierce"
I unfortunately didn't take any photos with Alek and Steph from Oh La La Mag who were judges for the event.
If I may take a personal moment, want to tell Alek and Steph again how nice it was to meet both of you and thanks again for all the support. Merci Beaucoup Mes Amis! I hope I spelled that right. :) Also guys, feel free to keep doing these kinds of postings.
There you have it. Sunshine, friends, and dogs in costumes........ not such a bad way to spend a Sunday.

Bella DOES look fierce, but that last flower dog has the greatest shadow of all time. Can we trade lives for a bit? That would be super. :)

The pugs in the flower cart have completely stolen my heart! Thank goodness my 4 dogs can't read:-) I think I would have cried when the event was over! What a fantastic way to spend the day.
It was cold here in the suburbs(grimace -Alex that is for you, I actually like living in the suburbs)on the East Coast.
