Real Housewives of Orange County. It's not quite over.

Even though last night was the finale of the Real Housewives of Orange County, the show isn't over just yet.  Next week will be a reunion episode, so I'm saving my special farewell until then.  On to the program......
All season we've heard so much about the fairy tale romance of Orange County royalty's Lauri and George and I have to say the wedding was a bit under whelming.  With all the talk of their five star life style and all their money, I expected a flock of American bald eagles to drop hundred dollar bills over the reception as the sprinklers soaked the crowd in Dom Perignon Champagne.  Don't get me wrong, the wedding looked like it cost a fortune... what with the crystal and flower streamers hanging from the trees and the vast team of hair and makeup artists needed to beautify the ladies. 

Speaking of hair and makeup, this is Lauri getting all Barbie dolled up for her wedding.  Her getting ready was way, way, way more entertaining to watch than the actual wedding.  Now I'll confess that on Halloween, I'm no stranger to a set of false eyelashes and a full face of spackled on makeup.  The getting ready part of Halloween is usually much more fun than actually going out.  Am I saying that Lauri is a drag queen and their wedding was like a disappointing Halloween party full of scary faced misfits?  No, I'd never say that.  That would be rude. 

The last third of the show was by far the most entertaining. Jeana I love money, now I'm loving life hosted a party for all the ladies.  My sweet, precious Vicky got hammered!  This was her reaction to having an empty glass.  In all honesty, I have that same reaction.

With each cocktail and shot Vicky consumed, my viewing enjoyment grew.  She screamed.  She yipped.  She rubbed her boobs on Tamra the hottest housewife in Orange County.  God I'm going to miss having Vicky in my living room each week. Especially drunk Vicky.

This is Jo.  I forgot that she has about 15 expressions every second.  Each time I hit pause on my Tivo, she was a blur.  This was the only clear image I had to draw from.  I didn't quite capture her, but in all honesty, I lost interest even before I started.  I remember that last season we were introduced to Jo as a songstress.  She mistreated us all to one of the most unlistenable song ever.  Now we are to believe that she's out on tour.  As a singer.  I had to rewind her segment about four times to make sure I was hearing that correctly.  Jo is a singer on tour.  AHHHHHHHHHHHH HAAAAAA HAAAAAA!!!!!!!  Actually I should be sad as that is a clear indicator that the music industry is dieing a slow death.  Make that a rapid death.

I look forward to the reunion show next week.

Each drawing took in between ten to twenty minutes.  One giant glass of Cabarnet.

Oh, LORD! Please send that scare-iffic drawing of the new Mrs. PeterCHINS to Lauri at her website!!! If that isn't the truest to life pic I've seen of her, I don't know what is. She was frightful in those curlers and her tarantula lashes. Someone please tell that woman NOT to wear sweat pants...or if she insists, get some "bottomsUP" underwear!

You can see that your Vicki's are drawn with such LOVE! They are masterpieces!

Lauri and Chinny McChin's wedding was almost not tacky. Was it really necessary to have their initials..um, everywhere? Though, you bet your ass I'll be ebaying crystal tree hangy things for my second wedding, I loved that. Omg, Jo. Why? So anti-climatic. Best part ever was when Brianna was like "maybe she's the opener for the opener for the opener" and what the fuck did Donn say? Something about "maybe she's waitressing?" I fuckin loved it! I have a new appreciation for Donn. Shit, Brianna too! Can't wait for the reunion.

You have never captured Lauri better! I couldn't wait to see her sister to what Lauri might look like without a face full of wax. There's no comparison. By the end of night I was praying that the would show Lauri once, just once, with no makeup.. And I agree with the first poster that she looks about 87 from the back. And my god, those hands...how old does Lauri claim to be? She's like the jurassic tranny.

Ok! I'm ready to jump in and comment!

1) First, if you live in Orange County, is it a law that your face color has to match the name of the county you live in? Besides these women looking like freaks with all their plastic surgery, they compound it with their orange faces! When two of them got massages, their faces were different color than their bodies. Sup with that?

2) Lauri looks like a bad rendition of Judith Light, aka "Angela" from "Who's the Boss" and that ain't good! I, too, was not impressed with the wedding. Although it was nice, weddings on "Platium Weddings" left that one in the dust.

3) What is with that former Playboy playmate who is so desperate to have sex and be married? Geez, get some self respect already!

4) Your drawings of Vicky (and all of the women) are priceless! "Empire" my foot! Her husband deserves to be treated better. He should totally leave her ass!

I noticed that no amount of money erases the fact that these woman need grammar lessons! Stat!

That wedding was pretty - too bad it was her, what, 4th????? Poor Josh - did you see how sad that lost kid is? Talk about being better-dealed! Lauri is a troll. I still can't figure out what Money-Bags-George is doing with her skanky bony ass. But then again, he is also a troll.
I, too, was happy to see there is a reunion show next week - at least it's not over yet!
And then Jo. She is one ugly girl. Someone please tell her she is a cheap self-promoter and nothing else.

Ok, I have to confess I am a total sap and loved the wedding! I thought Lauri looked beautiful in her wedding dress and I loved all the flowers and crystals and the works. Pre-wedding, I agree with the Sindy that Lauri should never wear sweat pants! I love your sketch of her in curlers; she reminds me of a Disney villian!
Your Vicki sketches are always the best and the one of her drunk had me clutching my sides:-) Her goofy expression and her eyes OMG!!! So her!
I could not believe how the fug had hit Jo. When she use to be on the show I thought she was attractive, now she looks terrible. Maybe, having sleazy Slade made her look more attractive -- I am not sure. I think she would have been more successful if she would have just stayed on the show. She can't sing and your sketch shows her big case of the fug -- poor Jo.
We still don't know why Josh lives with Georges' ex but at the end of the show we did learn that Josh will be living with Ashley. He looked so pained and sad. Maybe someone will ask this question next week!

Did you notice the shot of Vicky at the wedding when she was chomping on gum and starting to blow a bubble? I had to slo-mo that shit twice. She looked so insanely jealous at the wedding. I think we all know that Jeana and Donn are going to get freaky when Vicky is away. As for Jo, she is acting so cocky about her fake singing career. I second Briana's comment.

Oh $h!7 you nailed Vicki! My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard. And Lauri makes me think of John Travolta in Hairspray. I did note a sense of incredulity in Ashley's voice over Jo being a singer as well as the wonderful snarky comments of Brianna. Those 3 most be very close in age I am sure they know more than they let on about Jo's career and I bet its juicy too. David please Quinn's in a safe space here we need need need a Roxie drawing. When I saw the hairpiece on the counter I gasped (OK I squealed with delight) and knew something delicious was about to be served.

Great job as ever. But did you notice one fast moment that was amazing -- Going into one ad break during the run up to the gawdy wedding, they pushed in on Lauri's hand resting on her waist as she modeled her wedding dress. They say that the hand is the last frontier that still reveals your age. It was pretty scary.

Also -- I think your friendship with Quinn is blinding you to some real nutty dysfunction with her. The endless attempt to cow that cheesy golf dude into becoming an creation believing evangelical and hinting at a married future together was sorta nuts.

So I missed the original episode but I caught a rerun yesterday. I can't believe no one has commented on Lauri walking around checking on the preperations with a burger king cheese burger in her hand. HILL-AIRIOUSSSSSSSSS! That may have been my favorite part, aside from Jo nodding her head and saying yes before anyone could ask her any valid questions about her "career". Ooooh, I wonder if she's on myspace music? I guess I shall see.
