I'd like to send a great big THANK YOU to all of you who have left comments and sent emails of encouragement about my Reality TV-Tivo-line-wine drawings. Drinking and drawing is one of my favorite pastimes. If you're new to my site, here's a quick explanation..... I love nothing more than to pour myself a giant glass (or two) of red wine, grab a pen and pad of paper, plop down in front of a Tivo'd reality show, hit pause on my Tivo remote, and do an in between 5 to 30 minute sketch. And there you have it.
If you are familiar with my site, then you certainly know my fixation with The Real Housewives of Orange County and I Love New York. That last show just ended and as much as I hate it, I know The Housewives are going off soon. I'll miss you Vicky. So I've decided to start drawing my absolute favorite TV show, Project Runway. There are way too many contestants to draw at this point, so I will just start with three of the fellas.
This would be Christian and he's my favorite. He's cocky in a way some young people are but he certainly is talented. I'd rock the sh$t outta that candy wrapper dress he made on last night's episode. It was my favorite runway look of all.
This would be Kevin. My bff Mitch thinks he looks like a centaur. I think Kevin went to the AJ from The Backstreet Boys school of grooming. I also find Kevin oddly hot in a bear from Middle Earth kind of way.
This would be Ricky. He's prone to crying and favors wearing a striped train conductor hat. I think Ricky is adorable and I liked his runway outfit as well.
Next week I'll expand on the contestants and get into the judges as well. Can't wait to draw Tim Gunn!
All drawings done with ink on paper in between 15 to 20 minutes with one large glass of Merlot.

OMG! You have pinned all of my favorite shows! Thanks for branching to Project Runway! I can't wait to see some of the drawings! Might I suggest another good one would be A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila 2. I know they are taping another season soon, and the first one was soooooo wacky! I think you could have some real fun with it! Amanda from season 1 had that "Vicky Vibe" and could get some pretty interesting facial expressions! :)

I LOVE RICKY!!!! Thanks for drawing him; he looks great! He is so genuine, I hope he makes it to the finals. I loved his dress and Chris's dress -- and I LOVE Chris's laugh. I wish I could capture his laugh and whenever I felt sad, I could just use it as a "mood enhancer".
Although Christian designs are always "fierce" and I think he may end up winning, his arrogance gets on my nerves...I think Centaur Kevin feels the same way about him and probably most of Kevin's cohorts would agree with him.

I love Project Runway... I'm so glad you started watching it. Christian is my favorite. I have to agree with you that Kevin is hot in a weird way. Did you see next week's preview where Ricky is balling?? Lol.. he's too much.. what do you think about Rami?

I would love to see Malan Breton, too. He was my all-time favorite, and he was only on the show for a very short time, drat it. I can't wait to see how you draw the women - this is fascinating! :)
