I have love for New York!
After my sweet, precious Real Housewives of Orange County, my second most treasured and guilty reality TV indulgence would absolutely be I Love New York on VH1. This show follows the magical creature Tiffany Pollard a.k.a. New York in her quest to find true love. Her journey to find a soul mate involves a lot of smoking, drinking, swearing, and inch thick make up that takes its cue from Christina Aguilera and Rupaul.
This is round two of Tivo wine drawing time with my delicious and volatile New York. All these sketches were done in between 10 to 30 minutes with the assistance of hitting pause on my Tivo remote and a glass of St Francis Cabarnet Sauvignon. Drinking and drawing is my favorite hobby. Hey, at least I'm a productive lush.
I marvel at her ability to have 75 facial expressions in under 5 seconds.
This enchanted apple known as New York didn't fall far from her mother's tree. Mama New York, a.k.a. Sister Patterson is a combative, confrontational, and thoroughly mesmerizing evil stepmother-ish creature right out of a fairy tale. A stepmother, however, who has a ten inch penis. I'm sorry, but Sister Patterson is a dude.
Mister Sister Patterson intrigues and frightens me.
I wish this show was on 24 hours a day for the rest of life.

Ink on paper, Tivo, Wine, and a patient significant other who puts up with me wrecking our evening TV time.
I am going to have to try this approach to entertaining myself when on the road. The only problem is that I can't draw. Maybe I can just use crayon on old newspaper? And a nice bottle of Ripple. And since I don't have Tivo, I'll just draw what the voices tell me to. I have a feeling this may be what New York does when she's not getting her hair and nails did.

Please promise me that you are at least saving the good 2 buck chuck wine for viewing our Housewives!! (come on, you know Vicky drinks that in HAVASU!!!!!--it's the only place she can get her Britney on, without the Botoxed stares of the elders in "Shire") New York scares the bejesus out of me, and her mama is worse! Please only sketch them whilst drinking that wine in a box stuff! And then sanitize. EVERYTHING.

Oh my God -- these are brilliant! You have an amazing eye for detail and you captured her expressions perfectly...not to mention the huge-ass weave, long acrylics, make-up put on with a cement trowel. I just showed this to a bunch of folks at work and we are all crying because we are laughing so hard. But it is unanimous -- we all love your OC Housewives drawings and we eagerly await the next installment!!!

New York is my idol and I wish she was my best friend so I could meet her mom and Chance and Tailor Made and maybe she'd buy me a ridiculous boob job (or breast aug).
After this, you have become my 2nd favorite person ever.

OMG!! OMG!! LOL!! I fell IN LOVE with you when you did OC and now I love you cuz you love ILNY!! You are the bomb and I mean that! Love love love the sketches and comments on Sister Patterson - they are DEAD ON. Sister Patterson makes the show in so many ways to me cuz she is just crazy and nuts and scary and messy and totally unaware that she is a man. I mean the nails and black eyeliner on her eyebrows was enough to mesmerize me.
I never thought I would love the show and now I am stalking VH1 to catch it whenever I can. Its just such a mess. Ain't Buddha fine though..whew!
And I agree with everything Mandi said above.
