I have always loved the work of illustrator, artist Edward Gorey. He is well known for macabre drawings. My personal favorite is his book titled Gashlycrumb Tinies. In alphabetical order he creates 26 sinister images of children suffering a gruesome fate. G is for George smothered under a rug is my favorite.
This morning I, like the rest of the world, saw Paris Hilton's mug shot. As I began sketching her I immediately thought of Mr. Gorey. P is for Paris punished in prison comes with a nod to my one of my favorite artists.

You have such talent! I, also, adore Gorey.

How is it possible that you made her look pretty? She should replace her actual mug shot with this one.

I am so late in finding this post, but I LOVE it!
The Gashlycrumb Tinies make me swoon (though I simply can't pick a Gorey favorite; I love them all), and you have perfectly captured the Gorey-ness in your P is for Paris.
More, please! ;-)
