The Passion of the Tirade

Passion_of_the_tirade

Mel Gibson was so moved by the beautiful and poetic words of Michael Richards at the Laugh Factory, that he decided the two should team up, create, produce, and star in their own Broadway Musical.  Since work has been so sparse for Richards, he jumped at the chance.  Sure most people would lay low for a while after such tirades, but not Mel and Michael.  Monopolizing on the notion that any press is good press, they immediately began production.
The big show stopping numbers such as "Sugar Tits" and "Upside down with a fucking fork in your Ass" are real crowd pleasers.  They've created possibly the biggest train wreck ever.  Will you join in the fun?

This was featured on the Perez Hilton's site.  Thanks Perez!

Medium: ink on paper with photoshop and just a hint of crazy.

Hope you don't mind, but I posted this on my blog, credit given to you of course. Great site!

Jay Leno Racist Tirade in 1992..

Why didn't viewers hear about this? According to Wikipedia -Arsenio Hall..

He also had a rivalry with Jay Leno after the latter was named host of The Tonight Show, during which Arsenio said that he would "kick Jay's ass" in the ratings game. In 1992, it was revealed that backstage, Leno infamously referred to Hall as a "porch nigger" and said he was going to "lynch him in the ratings", comments that were revealed to the press by a mixed race intern who happened to be within earshot[citation needed]. Industry analysts mostly agree that the scandal would have ruined Leno's career had the media not been so intently focused on the presidential elections already dominating the news.

I am a huge fan of The tonight Show. I happen to come across this while doing some research on Arsenio Hall. I saw a rerun of In Living Color, and the show did a skit on Arsenio. I wanted to know what he has been up to lately. Well, i checked out Wikipedia and I was really disturbed by the above comments. Can someone research this to find out if its true? If so, I will not watch the "Tonight Show" - which I love again.

If it is true, I think it was a little hypocritical of Jay to make fun of Michael Richards with this skeleton in his closet.
